There are loose items of clothing that can be quite uncomfortable, and there are tight items of clothing that can be quite comfortable. For example, in hot weather I find men’s suits to be quite uncomfortable due to the temperature. Men’s suits can be loose fitting and still be uncomfortable. On the other hand, I find leggings to be quite comfortable (again, weather dependent). Hop on a bicycle in cargo shorts and ride 30 miles, and I assure you that all that fabric flopping around will be uncomfortable by the end of the ride. But put on a pair of short shorts, bicycle shorts, or leggings and you’ll still be comfortable at the end of the ride. Men don’t need to be effeminate, gay, or whatever to wear leggings or skinny jeans, which most people unfortunately think of as “women’s” clothing. Sorry folks, if a man buys it for himself, it’s men’s clothing. And they make leggings and skinny jeans which are intended for men to wear as well.
