Colour block dresses : These are my favorite kind of dresses to wearing during spring and summer. Typically colour block dresses consist of 2 bright blocks of colours on your dress. Oh, and there are non bright versions of this too if a more subtle colour scheme is your thing. Leopard print is EVERYWHERE! All the top models and influencers are wearing it, and of course it was all over the 2019 runways. Thats it for my 5 top trends for 2019! There’s no fashion trend that makes me ‘nervous’ per se, but yes, spring 2019 has seen the rise of certain trends that I don’t necessarily see on myself. Namely bright neon colours and animal prints. On their own, they’re not so much of an issue. However, when you mix these two, what you get is Neon animal print. I don’t like bright colours. I don’t like animal prints. And I sure as hell don’t like the two put together. But I can’t deny that the craftsmanship and the silhouettes are absolutely stunning. And not very often do you see the entire fashion industry get behind a trend this heavily. This trend has been the talk of fashion weeks this season. Numerous designers like Off white, Tom Ford, Zadig etc Voltaire, Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Versace and many more have shown neon animal print pieces this season and the trend doesn’t seem to be dying down any time soon, thanks to supermodels and influencers promoting it heavily owing to its ingenuity and successful run.
