I loved the Star wars the Mandalorian shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this series, but it tended to be quite repetitive at times. You can only have so many flashbacks about your dad trying to make you act normal and trying to keep your secret from your love interests. The premise was great, and if well written, the whole story could be told satisfactorily in a movie-length format. And, to avoid collapsing, because Quora automatically does not like brief answers, even if they are through and 100% accurate, the answer is still: yes. Cameras are angled up at actors to give them a sense of dominance or importance. They are literally looking down on you the viewer, they are elevated above everyone like a king. The actor can appear more imposing, more threatening. It can be seen as cinematic language to convey elevated status such as a boss. Taken from the film Casino, the up angle on the camera gives weight to DeNiro’s character, he is the boss and we know it. It gives his character more weight, makes his status clear, more imposing. If you can imagine what this shot would look like if the camera were at DeNiro’s eye level it would have far less impact, it would convey less. Another example shows Javier Bardem’s with a more exaggerated low angle from the film No Country for Old Men, this gives us an imposing angle of the killer, this makes him more threatening, gives him dominance. We are forced to look up at him, there are subtle psychological cues at play with this choice of camera angle. Lets take another example of the up angle. “I love the smell of napalm in the morning.” That iconic line, delivered by Robert Duvall in Francis Ford Coppola’s epic movie Apocalypse Now. Up angled used to convey the larger than life character, fearless dominating leader, again larger than life, a boss or leader.
