Well, now that you know what it is, here’s the The Legend of Zelda tears of the kingdom shirt Furthermore, I will do this reason why people thought that having this disease was pretty (and keep in mind this was somewhere in the 19th century, thankfully). Among the poor people living in Europe, it was dreaded. However, among the rich, it was a disease that was seen as beauty. I’m talking about the romanticization of tuberculosis. (As a general side note, don’t romanticize getting sick, like, at all.) The upperclass back then thought that thin and pale were beautiful (Another public service reminder here: don’t go out tanning this summer.) The woman in this picture is literally deathly pale. Side effects of looking good back then: coughing like 24/7, coughing up blood, destruction of the lungs, being tired 24/7, etc. You also die extremely slowly (a few years from contact before you die) which means you’re in even more agony. Also, just because you’re young doesn’t mean you’re immune to tuberculosis. As a side note, your face also ages quicker. I surely wish this never existed. I mean, the health officials tried, but they never got people to just stay in quarantine. Some of them (100 layers of leggings, t-shirts, tape etc.) are not the safest for your circulatory system and should never be tried at home. And some of them are just plain hideous and stupid like the make-up ones. And did I mention that its a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY? But yuh know, gotta get them views comin.
